SILENT HILL ROCKED!!
Ok, I just got back over an hour ago.. from watching
SILENT HILL .. the movie.
O .. MY... GOD!!
As Peter from Family Guy would say..
"FRICKING SWEET!!"
Yes, peter. Fricking sweet!
The movie was everything I could have
imagined and more!!
It satisfied my desire to see scenes from the games.
It satisfied my gore/blood ratio.
Permit me to talk to you about that sometime.
It was creepy, chilling, gory, bloody.
and oh yes.. oh so fricking sweet.!
But..........
I do admit that non-fans of the games,
may not get this movie,
therefor I say .. so , so suck your toe!!!!
This movie was made for US THE FANS!!
NOT YOU PISS ANTS!!
SO IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT .. FUCK YOU!
Fans of the games will NOT be disappointed.
And if you are.. you suck major ****
(insert your own naughty word).
One of the BEST scenes is pyramid head
with the naked chick :)

the resident evil movies, in chilling terror and gore.
Sorry but I loved the RE movies with Milla
but I wanted LESS action and MORE gore!
The Silent Hill movie gave me everything
I wanted and more!

As someone who refuses to tear apart movies just for the hell of it.. I loved this movie! The games are some of the best ever to be made and watching this movie.. I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face! As has been said, this movie was made for the fans of the games and it did a helluva lot better than any other game-to-movie production. People who try to compare this movie to grand productions starring todays hottest talents are doing so for no reason.. it wasn't made to compete with them. Compared to other movies in this very specific category(ie.. game to movie)it is not only very solid.. it makes it's competition look foolish. That is all that matters.. I, for one, haven't seen a better movie this year.. but everyone is entitled to their opinion. Shouldn't boil down to name calling and arguments over the net though. Just agree to have different tastes.. nobody is going to change the minds of anyone else.. you either liked the movie or you didn't. Let's keep this place from being as bad as the IMDb site. Have a decent discussion here. Why exactly did you not like the movie bb?
I loved the beginning scenes because they were so similar the SH 1 .. where harry first runs into the demon babies.
The skinning and barbwire scenes rocked because i just love that stuff.. in movies.

The movie did it for me because it was creepy, just like the games.. I mean the demon babies scene.. I loved it. Plus it had gore just like the games, I mean her trying to squeeze thru the nurses, and them slicing and dicing.. was sweet, and the jerking reminded my of the japan horror influences such as the way the dead girl moves in Ju-on the grudge.. the original japanese movie. If you haven't seen that , you are missing out. People complain too much about acting and just dont enjoy the film, I was happy because the movie was similar to the games and that is enough for me.
I am sorry you weren't scared..
But that is very hard to accomplish when making a movie adapted from a game, I liked it because it fulfilled everything else I wanted, and yes I was Very creeped out by the movie because of the gore scenes, which I loved.
So, if this didnt scare you.. maybe nothing will anymore,, and you are too JADED!!!
many critics praised Radha Mitchell for her superb acting.. I think it was done beautifully.

And y es.. perhaps that is why you did not enjoy the movie because you were distracted by the idiots,
I was fortunate not to experience that, smaller town. So watching silent hill in the dark in quiet,
it was better. Please do rent the dvd when it comes out and watch it in your own home, alone, in the dark. I am sure you will find it more enjoyable,, and please get back to me and let me know if you do or don't after the dvd comes out.I am curious to know what does scare you.
